Welcome to Rincon Lodge! Home
This is the perfect place to do just that. Read a book, take a nap, catch a movie on pay-per-view or kick back on the deck and sample the clean mountain air.
Loads of fun for kids and adults alike, the 3/10 mile long driveway provides an exhilarating ride!
If there is sufficient snowfall and you'd like to give it a go, take a powder run down the onsite trail! There is not a lift installed at this time, but the run ends right at the bottom of the driveway providing easy vehicle pickup. Other options include Durango Mountain Resort (about 45 minutes North) and Wolf Creek Ski Area (about 75 minutes East).
Onsite trails and access to public (BLM) lands provide miles of enjoyable opportunities for picnicking, artifact finding, and sightseeing.
Use the same hiking trails for an easy or challenging ride!
Wildlife Viewing and Hunting:
Elk, wild turkey and mule deer are within seconds of the Lodge. Bring the camera and don't miss shots like these! Seasonal hunting is permitted within the 76 acres and accessible 560 acre public (BLM) lands at no additional charge (permits are required by the Colorado Division of Wildlife). Guides are available to hunt the contiguous property for a nominal fee, contact us for details.
Nearby are gold medal waters on the Animas River and numerous mountain lakes and streams. Pack your gear and maybe you can hook into one of these!
